• Fifth General Meeting – Public Interest Law Panel

  • Description: A panel discussion featuring women in public interest law, including speakers from nonprofit legal organizations and public defenders' offices.

     

• Fourth General Meeting – Summer Pre-Law Opportunities
  • Date: Monday, February 17, 2025
  • Time: 5:30 PM
  • Location: Haas Center, DK Room

  • Description: A session focused on summer pre-law opportunities, including internships, LSAT prep, and legal research programs. Career advisors will be present.

  • Description: A discussion with law school admissions officers covering personal statements, LSAT strategies, and application tips.

  • Description: A welcome-back event with networking, goal-setting for the quarter, and committee sign-ups.

SWIL Fall 2024 Quarter General Meetings

• Fourth Meeting: Study Hour with Snacks
  • Date: Monday, November 18, 6 PM
  • Activity: A relaxed study session featuring tea, chai, snacks, and soothing music. Join us for a peaceful hour of studying with fellow SWIL members.
• Third Meeting: LSAT Teach-In
  • Date: Monday, November 4, 6 PM
  • Activity: Learn LSAT strategies and tips from SWIL members who have successfully navigated the exam. This meeting also includes updates on our winter programming and committee activities.
• Second Meeting: General Activities
  • Date: Monday, October 21, 6 PM
  • Activity: Committee Introductions and a Vision Board activity where members can set goals and aspirations for the year.
• First Meeting: Starting Off the School Year Right!

  • Activity: Community development meet and greet, along with a panel discussion titled “Dear Freshman Me: SWIL Senior’s Guide to Being Pre-Law @ Stanford.”
